Growing up as an only child has really pushed me to be an extrovert; a complete people person, I will quite literally strike up a conversation with anyone. This coupled with working at a store my grandparents owned in the town I grew up in has paved the way for my success in Management, Customer Service, Sales, and Account Management. I have found that you can train people, but you can’t train personality.

After graduating college from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse with a Marketing degree and a Psychology minor, I moved up the ranks quickly in the Management realm at Enterprise Rent-A-Car and eventually acquired a role at their corporate level. When I decided I loved working with people and high pressure sales was not for me, I moved on.

With a few other jobs sprinkled in, I found that Account Management is what best suites me. I get to work with clients all day, building relationships, while being their business partner. What struck me the most about Magellan Promotions was that I get to meld the best of both worlds; working with clients and being creative, for me that is a win-win!

When I was in college I had an internship with a screen printing company and I absolutely loved it! I found it to be so fun to see all the ways a business could be marketed and I was that company’s trusted advisor for merchandise. We would collaborate on taglines and what types of gadgets we could print their business name on, it was an awesome experience. Little did I know that over a decade later I would take a job with a promo merch company. I was over the moon to say the least. I get to relive some of my most fond college memories and create promotional items for colleges and other target audiences; I could not be more excited to be a part of this team!
