Ope! I was born and raised in Southeast WI, but now reside in Fond du Lac, WI. I earned undergraduate degrees from Ripon College in theater and religion and went on to receive a master’s in Christian bible studies. During my education, I studied Servant Leadership, which is my foundation for my personal and work ethic. I am continuously seeking ways to learn and grow, so I often take on opportunities that are outside my comfort zone or just not familiar with.

Prior to joining Magellan Promotions, I worked at my alma mater as an admission counselor and alumni volunteer strategist. I loved working in admissions, especially visiting with prospective students and their families. It was a great honor to authentically share my love for Ripon College and work alongside other alumni to do the same. Go Red Hawks! After nearly three years in admissions, I was ready to find another opportunity. An important mentor of mine, who had partnered with Magellan for 10+ years, encouraged me to pursue a job opportunity and not-so-long story short, I eventually joined the Magellan Team! I am happy to share my experience in higher education, customer service skills, and servant leadership on the projects I am involved in.

Outside of work, I enjoy crocheting (a LOT), board games and video games, visiting family in Door County, and all things DISNEY! My partner and I are absolutely Disney adults and love visiting the many parks – especially Walt Disney World. My biggest inspiration in life is Mr. Rogers – leading by his example. “You see, everybody is different, and everybody is valuable. The world can be a better place because you are in it.” – Mr. Rogers.

What would be your baseball walk out song?

“The Spins” by Mac Miller

If you could have dinner with anyone from history, who would it be?

Fred Rogers or Steve Irwin – I could learn so much from either and share our passions of kindness and animals!

If you could instantly pick up a new skill, what would it be?

Ghost Hunting – I don’t know if it’s a skill necessarily, but I would love to learn how to use the equipment to go ghost hunting!

What job would you be terrible at?

Haunted House Actor – Okay, I know I have a degree in theater, but I could not hold a straight face scaring people for hours at a time.

Variable Data Best Practices

  • At the quoting stage of your project, please let us know how many fields of variable data your piece will have as this can affect pricing.
  • Data should be provided to us as an Excel spreadsheet with only the applicable data included.
  • Verbiage for variable data fields on artwork file should match up exactly with data fields on spreadsheet.
  • Spacing on artwork must allow for longest data entries. We recommend that your designer tests this in advance to confirm that the fields in the design can fit your longest pieces of data.

Postage Permits

We are happy to mail using a client’s USPS non-profit number. Here are a few best practices for this to go smoothly. Let our team know up front on the project so we can make sure to get the information we need right away.

While our mail house does prefer to use their permit number for the mailing, we can use the client’s permit, If using their permit number, ensure there is enough postage to cover the mailing.

The information we need to in order to use a client’s nonprofit number includes the following:

Formatting the Mailing List

Our account team will advise on specific requirements for your project’s mailing list.  We generally recommend these best practices to format the mailing list:
