Helping and connecting with people is my passion. I grew up and currently reside in Southeast Wisconsin. I started my journey by helping others in the health and wellness industry after graduating from UW La Crosse with a degree in Exercise and Sport Science. A few years after working for a local YMCA as Fitness Coordinator and Personal Trainer, my passion to help others and love for my college experience, led me to an academic advising position at Marquette University. As an advisor, I had the opportunity to support students in their academic and career endeavors, support recruitment, and develop programs for student success. In addition, I completed my master’s degree in Student Affairs- Educational Policy and Leadership.  My most recent role in higher education was at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside where I served as Executive Director for Advising, Career and Academic Support departments.

I am excited to bring my experiences in customer service, program coordination, and project management to my role as Project Coordinator at Magellan Promotions to continue to support higher education institutions.

In my free time, I like to spend time with my family, play soccer and coordinate events for a local women’s soccer club. I also teach group exercise fitness classes where I can create challenging workouts to fun music. It was through a fellow soccer player that I heard about Magellan Promotions and its specialty in providing solutions to higher education institutions through branded merch and messaging. After learning more about the company and its mission, I could not pass an opportunity to join the amazing team.

What do you like to do in your free time?

I like to spend time with my family, play soccer and coordinate events for a local women’s soccer club.

What is your go-to song/artist/genre when you teach group fitness classes?

This is a tough question because I have tons of playlists. Two songs that I find motivating because of the fast temp is “Shake it off” by Taylor Swift, and “Titanium” by David Guetta ft. Sia.

Variable Data Best Practices

  • At the quoting stage of your project, please let us know how many fields of variable data your piece will have as this can affect pricing.
  • Data should be provided to us as an Excel spreadsheet with only the applicable data included.
  • Verbiage for variable data fields on artwork file should match up exactly with data fields on spreadsheet.
  • Spacing on artwork must allow for longest data entries. We recommend that your designer tests this in advance to confirm that the fields in the design can fit your longest pieces of data.

Postage Permits

We are happy to mail using a client’s USPS non-profit number. Here are a few best practices for this to go smoothly. Let our team know up front on the project so we can make sure to get the information we need right away.

While our mail house does prefer to use their permit number for the mailing, we can use the client’s permit, If using their permit number, ensure there is enough postage to cover the mailing.

The information we need to in order to use a client’s nonprofit number includes the following:

Formatting the Mailing List
