I attended UW-Madison and received a degree in Human Ecology – Interior Design and Architecture. Throughout college I worked for Pier 1 imports which catapulted me into the world of visual merchandising. Post college, I worked in corporate retail for 13 years before deciding to become a stay-at-home mom to my two girls. I do not fare well sitting still; therefore, I immersed myself in the elementary school world, volunteering in the classroom, assisting in the library, chairing the school’s book fairs, you name it I did it and feel so fortunate to have been able to do so! During this time, I discovered a love for cooking which led me to writing a recipe column for a local magazine.
Aside from work, I spend my time helping my mom manage her estate and an antique business. I am passionate about history (I grew up in an 1800’s log cabin, so go figure!), nature, and travel. My absolute favorite pastime is simply spending time with my family.
I have always had a passion for creating a positive and productive work environment through organization, process improvement and teamwork. I am thrilled to join the Magellan Promotions team and cannot wait to put my skillsets to use!
