Magellan Promotions Celebrates #GivingTuesday With Record Impact

custom promotional products

GivingTuesday is one of our favorite annual traditions. It’s a day when our team comes together to support causes that matter deeply to us. Each team member chooses an organization that aligns with their personal passions, and Magellan matches their donations to amplify the impact. Many organizations also offer Giving Tuesday–specific matching opportunities, helping contributions go even further.

This year, Magellan is proud to share a total 2025 Giving Tuesday impact of $6,990, including individual team member donations, Magellan’s matching gifts, and additional outside matches. This surpasses our 2024 total of $4,850, reflecting our continued commitment to giving back and strengthening the communities we care about.

Here are a few of the organizations our team members supported this year, along with the personal stories behind why each was chosen.

Sojourner Family Peace Center
Supported by Hannah

I participated in one of Sojourner’s events earlier this year (a walk) and, ever since, I’ve believed deeply in the work they do to support women, children, and men fleeing violence. Seeing the community come together around such a critical cause made a lasting impact on me.

Sojourner Family Peace Center is the largest nonprofit provider of domestic violence prevention and intervention services in Wisconsin, serving nearly 10,000 clients each year. Established in 1975, Sojourner offers a comprehensive array of services designed to help families affected by domestic violence find safety, justice, and long-term well-being.

Their primary goals are to protect victims of family violence and create a pathway out of violence for both victims and abusers—supporting positive, lasting change for individuals and their children. I’m proud to support an organization doing such essential and life-saving work.

Kinship Community Food CenterGivingTuesday
Supported by Lisa

I chose to support Kinship because I’ve witnessed firsthand how powerfully they center dignity, welcome, and belonging. Kinship doesn’t just provide food; it builds relationships, restores hope, and strengthens community in ways that feel deeply human and deeply needed. Supporting them is my way of investing in a model of care that honors every person who walks through their doors.

Kinship believes that addressing hunger is a catalyst for community well-being. There’s a wonderful transformation that happens when people are called out of isolation and into community. Whether you’re a volunteer, shopper, or donor, discovering both the gifts you have to offer and the gifts you’re meant to receive can surprise, heal, and bring new purpose.

Just One More MinistryGivingTuesday
Supported by Michael

This organization began in the basement of my church. One parishioner saw an opportunity to feed our community by redirecting surplus food from restaurants, caterers, grocery stores, and other sources. With nearly 40% of food in the U.S. going to waste, this mission filled a critical need.

What started small grew quickly — so quickly that the organization has outgrown multiple spaces and is now in its third location. Today, Just One More Ministry feeds more than 3,000 people each week through 75 partner organizations.

It’s inspiring to see how one person’s idea can spark something so impactful.

C.O.P.S. (Concerns of Police Survivors)GivingTuesday
Supported by Cassi

This year, I chose to donate to C.O.P.S., an organization that holds deep personal meaning for me. As a law enforcement spouse, their mission hits especially close to home. Behind every badge is a family, and behind every fallen officer is a life forever changed.

Supporting families who have lost an officer in the line of duty is something I never want to imagine needing myself, yet I know it is a reality for many. Law enforcement is an incredibly challenging and selfless profession, one that affects not only officers but also the people who love them most.

Giving to C.O.P.S. is my way of honoring that sacrifice and standing alongside families who face the unimaginable with strength, resilience, and courage.

Stars and Stripes Honor Flight GivingTuesday
Supported by Dan

We are eternally grateful to our veterans, and Stars and Stripes Honor Flight is a powerful way to honor their service and sacrifice. This organization is part of the broader Honor Flight Network, which includes approximately 130 regional hubs across the United States.

To date, the network has escorted nearly 250,000 WWII, Korean War, and Vietnam War veterans to Washington, D.C., to visit memorials honoring them, all at no cost to the veterans.

It’s impossible to thank them enough for all they have done, but supporting Stars and Stripes Honor Flight helps ensure these heroes are respected, remembered, and celebrated long after their active service ends. We’re proud to donate to this meaningful cause.

Elgin Community College Foundation GivingTuesday
Supported by Michael

I believe in the power of a college education because of what it meant to my parents, and because my own life wouldn’t be the same without Elgin Community College.

My dad struggled in high school and couldn’t get into four-year schools. Elgin CC took a chance on him, put him on a rigorous program, and gave him the structure he needed. He buckled down, succeeded, and eventually transferred to Eastern Illinois University, where he flourished and met my mom. He went on to build a successful career.

Without Elgin Community College, his story (and mine) would be completely different. I’m grateful for the opportunity to support a foundation that creates opportunities for the next generation.

Coral Restoration Foundation GivingTuesday
Supported by Ryan

I chose to donate to the Coral Restoration Foundation because I’m very passionate about the Florida Keys and the world’s oceans in general. As a lifelong nature and animal lover, I care deeply about the impact coral reefs have on oceans and communities.

After traveling to the Keys for the first time, I realized how magical that part of the country is, and how essential healthy coral reefs are to both wildlife and people. Coral reefs provide food, coastal protection, and habitat for millions of species, yet we’ve lost more than half of the world’s reefs in the past 30 years. Without immediate action, all shallow-water reefs are projected to vanish before the end of this century.

This matters because more than 25% of all marine species depend on coral reefs, and their global economic value is estimated at $9.9 trillion. I wanted to support an organization working to protect and restore this vital natural resource for generations to come.

Second Harvest Foodbank of Southern Wisconsin GivingTuesday
Supported by Dan

My father-in-law has worked with Second Harvest for many years, and my wife and I are proud to support both his efforts and the organization’s mission. Since 1986, Second Harvest has provided nearly 286 million meals to communities across Southeastern Wisconsin.

They believe everyone should have equal access to nutritious, affordable, and culturally meaningful food. Through their core services: food acquisition and storage, food distribution, and strong community partnerships, they help ensure that people facing hunger have the resources they need not just to get by, but to thrive.

Hunger never takes a break, and we’re grateful to contribute to an organization working every day to meet this basic and essential need.

Roots Ethiopia GivingTuesday
Supported by Michael

My wife and I adopted both of our boys from Ethiopia, so the country is close to our family’s heart. The organizers of Roots Ethiopia also adopted children from Ethiopia and share our goals for families living in rural Ethiopia. We have seen and learned about the importance of their mission to support children in getting an education and to give women opportunities to be independent through work. Our family is excited to support these goals.

  • Data should be provided to us as an Excel spreadsheet with only the applicable data included.
  • Verbiage for variable data fields on artwork file should match up exactly with data fields on spreadsheet.
  • Spacing on artwork must allow for longest data entries. We recommend that your designer tests this in advance to confirm that the fields in the design can fit your longest pieces of data.
